zipLED LightSticks are configurable to save power in 12-volt RV and Boat lighting. Choose the shape and amount of light that fits your needs.

LED lights range from smallest 12-volt ZL1 to brightest ZLS LightSticks.

Bases include B15 single contact, B15 double contact, and wedge.

ZLS in a light fixture vs 4 ZL3s Our newest addition to the zipLED line is the Starion(tm) ZLS LightStick. From a single half-inch by one-and-a-half inch ZLS board you get 220 lumens of bright white light, three and a half times the brightness of our remarkable ZL3.

The primary building blocks are the zipLED Bases, LightSticks, and the ZLX-Expansion PowerStrip. The design of the zipLED family is copyrighted and patent pending 2008 by LightBlasters/Neutek-USA.

The key to zipLED connectivity are the ZLX power distribution units, arrangements of SIP (Single InLine Package) terminal blocks that can fit onto different lighting bases or be used stand-alone. The 24-awg solid wire from the LightStick boards fits into the SIP sockets and is locked into place by the inner spines of the socket. The layout for the ZLX array is as follows:

and provides the capacity to connect six zipLED devices into the same distribution unit. Note that any two adjacent SIP sockets will be opposite polarity. It is necessary to test the orientation of the connector in the circuit to determine the proper wiring pattern for the LightSticks.

zipLED ZL3 LightSticks are 0.5 by 1.5 inch boards containing three HyBright.3 LED chips. Power and ground are provided through a dual conductor pigtail of 24 awg solid wire. An onboard circuit provides voltage protection over the range from 10v to 18v. Double-stick tape on the back-side can be used to mount the LightStick however needed in the application. Each LightStick produces 60 lumens of natural white light using 0.07 amps at 12.5 volts.

These mounts can be used to construct lighting solutions for chandeliers and patio lights, as well as other applications. You can purchase aluminum flashing at your neighborhood hardware store or purchase small quantities here. NOTE: the cut aluminum can be sharp around the edges and corners. Be careful.
