LEDs
are the way of the future, and ThinLUX(tm) LightStrip products
offer great flexibility for this application,
whether in your 12-volt RV or boat environment, or using a 12-.volt
power supply in your landed home. The wide-angle
lighting using ultra-thin state-of-the-art LED technology runs 80% cooler at a 90% energy
savings with zero maintenance in excess of 11 years.
For example, indirect
lighting behind a cornice or beneath a cabinet can be handled with
ThinLUX, especially where a run of several feet is required. Light
your stairwells and closets. Dress up your patio eaves and awnings
and around the barbecue pit.
The ThinLUX is useful as a
fluorescent replacement where fLEDescent replacements do not work,
such as for the large industrial fluorescents. Note as a precaution:
when using a LightStrip inside a fluorescent fixture, it is
necessary to connect the LED strip directly to the +12-volt and
ground lines. If they are connected to the output
of the ballast, the LEDs will very quickly be destroyed.
Unlike zipLED, where each LED component has its
own voltage protection, ThinLUX LightStrips depend upon having
a regulated 12-volt DC power source. In you RV or boat, It is
advisable to connect them to 12-volt rig power through a
voltage regulator such as our VR12. In a domestic
environment such as your home where the native power is 120VAC, we
have our PS1 series of regulated 12-volt power supplies,
ranging from 25 to 150watt capacities.
LightStrips can be wired in series by soldering
the pigtail of one strip to the input of the next. The proper
polarity must be maintained, and the solder holes are coded as a
circle and a square to facilitate maintaining polarity.
Conservatively, up to 3 amps can be carried by the pigtail wires
without loss of voltage, providing the capacity to series connect
150 HyBright.3 chips.

in the USA. ThinLUX is a trademark of Neutek-USA in Mesa, AZ. In
fact, all LED configurations are Made-In-USA in Mesa, AZ
using HyBright.1, -.3, and -.4 LED
chips. They feature solid state construction
designed to last as long as the LEDs, circuitry to allow operation
in the variety of electrical environments and power sources found in
RVs and Boats, and solid copper heat sinks to protect the LEDs and
ensure their extended lifetime of 11 years.

TL0-Wand: These are pre-built 12-volt warm-white LED
TrimLight strips sealed in a water-tight plastic tube on the
end of a six foot white cord. They have many possible uses:
stair-step light -- mount in or out
cabinet
light -- mount under shelf
counter light -- mount over
work area
closet light -- mount with magnetic switch
basement light -- good for deep corners
aquarium
lights -- water-tight, fish love it
map light -- connect
in glove compartment The backside of the tube has a layer
of double-stick tape that can be exposed to mount the wand
into position.
These light wands are
available in lengths of 6" or 18". You can custom order other
lengths and colors.
You can tap into existing 12-volt
